Recently, Linda Dymon, RN, was caring for a very ill and frail patient that she became concerned about. Rather than simply complete her visit for the day and hope for the best, Linda took the time to call him later in her day to check on him and it was a good thing she did. The patient reported to her that he had received a call from his doctor telling him he needed to get to the hospital as soon as possible. The patient was weak, and afraid so Linda quickly took action and made sure he had an Uber lined up to take him to where he needed to go. Later, Linda once again checked on him to ensure he made it to the hospital safely. This whole episode was an amazing display of empathy. And this isn’t the first time Linda has gone above and beyond to ensure her patients have exactly what they need and are well taken care of. Linda is truly an angel on this earth to her patients.
