We are so inspired by Tracy’s story and the power of Kandu’s program in helping patients navigate and take control of their recovery. Tracy is an opera singer, artist, and activist based in San Francisco. At a pivotal point in her career, she had a #stroke. Through the support of Kandu, Tracy was able to take control of her recovery and find connection, community and the tools to achieve her goals. Within weeks, Tracy traveled to New York and performed in her career debut at the Metropolitan Opera. Read her full story here: https://lnkd.in/g_-xfF8J. Kandu Health™ is an Imperative Care company that provides tech-enabled healthcare services to people recovering from stroke – follow their page to learn more!

The #ImperativeCare team came together to close out #StrokeAwarenessMonth with our annual Stroke Month Celebration, acknowledging the impact of our mission and day-to-day work on the lives of patients. We listened to inspiring speeches from Ariel Klein Sutton and Fred Khosravi, celebrated our milestone of treating 45,000 patients, and got the opportunity to meet Gerardo, a 26-year-old stroke survivor who was able to return to his normal life and live independently after being treated with our technologies. While Stroke Month has come to a end, our commitment to #ElevatingPatientCare continues.

The #ImperativeCare team took a break from their desks for our F.A.S.T. & Fit Walk, which acknowledges both #EmployeeHealthandFitnessDay + #StrokeAwarenessMonth. We enjoyed the warm spring weather and got our bodies moving. Special thanks to Imperative Care Stroke GM Ariel Klein Sutton for kicking us off with a discussion around the importance of knowing the #SignsOfStroke.
