Humanity’s challenges extend beyond the immediate global threats because substantial challenges, such as difficulties in addressing climate change, are a result of the collapse in human cooperation. Therefore we aim to also showcase companies empowering individuals to solve their daily issues, fostering a supportive societal context. Why did we build this? Because society needs solutions, because we can reliably identify such companies, and because it's fun and rewarding to learn from the successes of good companies. About us
In Good Company Index website was founded by Prof. Amit Baumel and Keren Faber as a hub that identify companies who have a positive impact on the work and celebrates innovative solutions to humanity’s problems. The website presents unbiased expert evaluations on companies’ positive impact, based on a rigorous evaluation approach. Each company that enters the index have to meet the following criteria: 1. The company's primary goal aligns with our categories of positive impact. 2. It offers an innovative solution that others can learn from. 3. It has moved beyond the pilot or proof-of-concept phase. 4. It does not cause a negative impact through its business model. We do not receive any payments from companies for evaluating or presenting them. Support us by following and sharing our work in social media channels or by inviting prof. Baumel to give a lecture about technology, humankind, and wellbeing.
