RAS can make it easier to control critical factors and create optimal conditions for your animals, but if measurements don’t accurately reflect water quality, you can’t trust that system adjustments will have the desired effect. Membrane-based DO sensors come with a host of extra storage and setup considerations; if they’re not prepared correctly, you won’t get good data.
