🚛 Big news from YTO Express (600233)! On September 24, YTO completed the delivery of 300 autonomous heavy-duty trucks, pre-loaded with Inceptio Autonomous Driving System, at the logistics center in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. These vehicles will enhance safety and efficiency across YTO’s line-haul freight routes nationwide, delivering greater value to its customers. In addition to providing a safer and more comfortable driving experience, these autonomous trucks utilize Fuel-Efficient-Autonomous-Driving technology that can reduce fuel consumption by 3% to 7%. This not only lowers costs but also makes the deliveries greener. During the workshop, Dr. Min Feng, Senior Director of R&D at Inceptio, shared about the practices and customers values from Inceptio's autonomous driving technology and its T-NOA capabilities in commercial operations. He commented, “The application of autonomous driving technologies in heavy-duty trucks is rapidly maturing and paving the way for greater commercial deployment across the line-haul logistics sector with operations that are not only more environmentally sustainable, but also safer, more efficient, and profitable. Our technologies have demonstrated how they are able to reduce carbon emissions by prioritizing fuel efficiency in their driving decisions, with our data showing fuel consumption per 100 kilometers falling by 3 to 5 liters, resulting in fuel savings of 3% to 7%. With increasing pressure around the world to meet environmental targets, the motivation for companies to reduce emissions and contribute to sustainability efforts is becoming even more important.
