Viewers’ Embrace of CTV outstrips #ad spending #CTV ad spending is booming, but not enough to keep up with #consumer behavior. Spending will increase by more than 18% this year, but the gap between CTV’s share of eyeballs and its share of ad spending is still widening. U.S. adults will spend 20% of their media time on various apps, streaming platforms, and services on CTVs by 2026, more than double from 2019, but only 8% of ad budgets will go to CTV. U.S. #film and #TV production Down 40% from Peak Film and TV production isn’t coming back to pre-2022 levels anytime soon, according to ProdPro. Production in the U.S. was down 40% in Q2 2024 compared to peak-TV levels in 2022. Global production in Q2 was down by 20% compared to 2022. Domestic film and TV shoots were up 30% in Q2 compared to 2023, but the numbers are skewed by production shutdowns in the wake of the Hollywood writers’ strike from May to September 2023.
