About us

Indigenous Healthcare Advancements work to improve the healthcare system for Indigenous communities across the country. We do this by connecting the dots between various resources—including federal, state and local government funding—healthcare services and tribes. We value and connect traditional medicine with modern healthcare practices, ensuring a symbiotic relationship between the two in healthcare practices we support. We bring more than two decades of experience managing healthcare systems and developing relationships with a broad network of tribal leaders and healthcare experts. Our approach results in healthier patients and stronger Indigenous communities.

  • Three Rivers Health Center opening to Tribal Members next week, 5/20/24! Congrats to CTCLUSI!

Yesterday afternoon the Three Rivers Health Center and Pharmacy team came together with CTCLUSI Chief and Tribal Council to smudge the building and the land prior to our Tribal patient Go-Live next week on Monday, 5/20. For many of the team members this was their introduction to just one of the amazing aspects of working for a Tribal enterprise and for our Tribal people. It was also the first time a few of our Tribal Council members had seen the finished product that is their new health center. We are ready to open the doors to our people starting Monday! For those of you tracking that is 27 months total from first thought, to reality. Included in that was a few minor delays, but in the grand scheme of things, this project came together beautifully. If you are a CTCLUSI Tribal Member and you would like an appointment you are encouraged to call us at 541-435-7200. We are still putting the finishing touches on our call center, so we apologize if the phones are a little busier than normal. We plan to have this ironed out in the next month or so. Visit us at www.threerivers.health for more information.

Today I wanted to recognize Ryan Ceurvorst (www.ceurvorst.com) and Rodel Estioco (www.rodelstudios) who have been heading up the marketing related tasks for CTCLUSI’s new Three Rivers Health Center! Working alongside CTCLUSI’s communication team, Ryan guided TRHC’s Branding, Mission and Vision, and Marketing planning while Rodel supported with his array of camera equipment and staging expertise providing us a well rounded face-forward approach to getting our TRHC name out there! I can’t thank Ryan and Rodel enough for their support in making the nuanced world of marketing palatable while also honoring and respecting the Tribal perspective through their work with us. I can hardly wait to witness the unveiling of TRHC’s new promotional video! I would recommend these two to anyone looking to expand their brand recognition and understand the impact of their product within their local, regional, or national marketplace.

  • Beautiful Morgan!

Today I would like to recognize Morgan Gaines, CTCLUSI Tribal Member and the brain behind the Three Rivers Health Center logo, the cultural photos that really pull the clinic together, and now the entry mural that everyone will see as they enter and exit the facility. I was fortunate enough to witness the progression of her mural this week, start to finish, and today she added the final component, her signature. Morgan’s value isn’t confined to her artistry, as she was also kind enough to address our TRHC leadership and our clinical teams to help us all understand CTCLUSI symbolism, traditon, and culture. We can’t thank you enough Morgan! Your mural and photos are beautiful!

  • A special day for the Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua & Siuslaw Indians as well as our team!

Today is a special day! Three Rivers Health Center’s first patient encounter has happened! What is really special is that just over two years ago our first patient was the CTCLUSI Tribal Council Chair who’s last action in that position was to sign the resolution for this project to begin! Today, Debbie Bossley is back on Council, serving as the Position 6 delegate and seeing that signature come full circle! I am so proud to have been a part of bringing healthcare to this Tribal Community, who up until today was entirely reliant upon others for their care. This is a very special moment to witness!
