🌊 Making Waves for a Cleaner Pakistan! 🌍 We took a powerful step towards environmental sustainability by organizing our "Tide of Care" beach cleaning initiative at Karachi’s Sandspit and Turtle Beach for Pakistan’s Independence Day. In collaboration with WWF-Pakistan, we came together to restore the natural beauty of our beloved coastline. inDrive employees, passionate volunteers, local students, and even celebrities joined forces to remove plastic waste, discarded fishing nets, and other pollutants. The energy was infectious as we worked hand-in-hand, showing our commitment to sustainability and community upliftment. More than just a beach cleanup, this event was a movement. We’ve officially launched operations in the beautiful city of Playa del Carmen, Mexico, in alliance with the local taxi drivers union "Lázaro Cárdenas del Río." Currently, only local taxi drivers in Playa del Carmen are eligible to join as drivers, with the added benefit of enjoying three months without service charge from the app. Empowering them to enhance their service and boost their earnings. Empowering women to break barriers and run their own race! 🚀 Recently, during the month of July, we hosted the inspiring "Choose Your Pace" seminar in collaboration with Cairo Runners at Consoleya Downtown, where around 100 passionate women gathered to learn, connect, and grow. At the seminar, we discussed inDrive's impact on women and running, the exciting YourPace & Cairo Runners partnership, featuring a special topic: opportunities for women entrepreneurs (especially the Aurora Tech Award impact). During the panel discussion, inspiring stories of women breaking barriers (inspiring stories about women breaking barriers in sports and life) were shared, and attendees gained valuable technical tips on running and warm-up during our special "Women in the Move" session. According to data from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI), more than 6 million people in Mexico live with some type of disability, yet access to transportation remains a significant challenge. 🚗 We believe that mobility should be accessible to everyone, so we’re committed to driving change in this area. On August 14, we organized a powerful workshop for drivers in Mexico City, along with Lucero Marquez, an inspiring advocate for disability rights, and a passionate speaker who shared her personal experiences as a blind individual. This workshop aimed to equip our drivers with essential tools to better serve passengers with disabilities, offering practical tips on communication, vehicle accessibility, and personalized service. Through this initiative, we’re not only reinforcing our commitment to safety and accessibility but also fostering a more inclusive future for urban mobility in Mexico. In response to the recent declaration of emergency in Monterrey following Tropical Storm Alberto, we're stepping up to support our community. Starting this weekend, and throughout most weekends in August and September, we’re eliminating the service fee for our drivers in Monterrey. 🚗💨 This initiative aims to help those affected by the storm, while also encouraging nearly 2,000 new people to join our platform and benefit from the digital economy. At inDrive, we believe in using technology to build stronger communities.
