They are migrating the Texas Integrated Eligibility Redesign System (TIERS) into the cloud. The University of Texas at Arlington is expanding its research capabilities with an outdoor drone research institute, The Maverick Autonomous Vehicle Research Center. Verizon will be buying Dallas-based Frontier Communications in a $20 billion deal, which is expected to close within 18 months (pending regulatory and shareholder approval).
