Participants gained invaluable insights into the legislative process, honed their testimony skills, and heard directly from legislators about effective ways to engage with policymakers. The Marion County Reentry Coalition event was a great success that included so many local and community state leaders in the field of Reentry. Special recognition goes to speakers Kipp Morgan, Chad Williams, Sylvia Thomas, Kevin Henry and Kris Roehling for playing instrumental roles in their breakout sessions. We also can't forget our volunteers that helped during the resource fair. Finally, thank you Abigail Carr, MPH, for your wonderful job as Chair for this event.
