AuntMinnie.com has published its list of biggest threats to #radiology for 2024. Vastly increasing imaging volumes, as well as radiologist shortages and burnout top the list. Slow adoption rate for #AI is also a threat, but it shouldn't be, as AI tools can greatly help deal with the other threats. AI tools help streamline imaging workflows for #radiologists, and we're proud to do our part in developing AI solutions.

We love being based in Houston, one of the world’s top 50 startup cities on a new list from PitchBook! Houston earned a Pitchbook growth score of 63.8/100 — the highest growth score of any US city and the seventh highest growth score in the world. Houston sits between between Paris (64.4) and Washington, D.C. (61.7). The PitchBook growth score reflects short-term, midterm, and long-term growth momentum for activity surrounding venture capital deals, exits, and fundraising for the past six years. https://lnkd.in/gsehXM9Z

InformAI is happy to help spread awareness about organ donation during April's National Donate Life month. Participation is more important than ever. Nearly 104,000 Americans are on the national organ transplant waiting list, and a new name is added every 8 minutes. One person can save up to 8 lives through organ donation and improve over 75 lives through tissue and cornea donation. To learn more about donation, please visit LifeGift.org or DonateLifeTexas.org.

April is Cancer Control Month. What is that exactly? Cancer control focuses on reducing complications from cancer through improved treatments and reduced risks. Complications from radiation therapy caused 482,525 hospitalizations, according to a study conducted between 2005 and 2016. Radiation for lung, prostate, and head and neck (H&N) cancers accounted for the leading causes of hospitalization, with ~58,000 (12%) attributed to H&N. InformAI is committed to developing our RadOncAI product to generate an optimized H&N radiation plan that targets tumors while minimizing exposure to adjacent healthy tissues.
