One of our favorite display methods is the living mural, especially for multi-day events! 🌟 As each board is finished, it's added to the display wall. We joined Association for Value-Based Cancer Care (ABVCC) for the 3rd year in a row at their annual conference in New York City. Each year ABVCC joins together clinicians, payers, and policy-makers to discuss the implementation of value-based care in the Oncology space. We created 24 boards over 2.5 days and learned a lot about the complex American healthcare system. Thanks for having us, ABVCC! ✍️

I had a phenomenal time at IMPACT Day this past Friday where members of the Chicago Urban League IMPACT Alumni Association gathered for our annual mini-conference. I've spent the better part of the last few months planning this event and the better part of the last two years thinking about the types of conversations that took place. We had an illustrious lineup of speakers and a broad spectrum of topics raised. Building accountable Black power, centering health equity, embracing radical imaginations, scaling Black businesses, and promoting civic engagement were all covered in the breakouts, panel discussion, and fireside chat. Many thanks to our illustrious guest speakers: Cathy Cohen, Dorri McWhorter, Candace C. Moore, Xavier Ramey, Christopher Rudd and John W. Rogers, Jr.. Also, many thanks to the team who I had the pleasure of working with to pull this event together: Michelle Kemp, Janine Franklin, PhD, Arielle Johnson, MPA, Mekashia Chenault, and Ayo Dahunsi. Special shoutout to Kafi Moragne-Patterson, PhD for her partnership and stewardship of IMPACT and Leadership Programming at the Chicago Urban League. And her team Syedah Cabell & Elena Thoman were rock stars throughout! Finally, special thanks to the team at Ink Factory Studio for beautifully capturing the major insights from the day!
