  • Press Release FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Co-Development of a 524,000 SF Dry/Cold Storage Facility in St. Johns County We are excited to announce our co-development of a state-of-the-art 524,000 square foot tri-temp cold storage facility located at 3800 Deerpark Blvd in St. Johns County Florida. This Build to Suit (BTS) project, for KeHe Distributors, marks a significant expansion in our local portfolio and another major milestone in our commitment to providing best-in-class industrial facilities, including cold storage buildings. The KeHe BTS development will feature a single building on a 40-acre site acquired by InLight in 2022. InLight contributed the property to a joint venture with Stotan Industrial out of Chicago, who is our co-developer on the project.  We anticipate the completion of this project by the summer of 2025. KeHE has been a prominent tenant in the area since 2008, occupying a 241,626-square-foot facility at 4055 Deerpark Blvd. The new development will more than double KeHE’s footprint in St. Johns County, where they currently employ around 380 people, making them one of the top nongovernmental employers in the county. KeHE’s distribution network is extensive, serving over 31,000 natural food stores, independent grocers, and general food stores like Publix across the United States and Canada. The St. Johns County branch will play a crucial role in this network, serving stores from North Carolina to the Florida Keys and West through the Florida Panhandle. Evans General Contractors serves as the general contractor and Colliers as the leasing broker. This development will be InLight’s fifth project in Jacksonville, further solidifying our local presence and commitment to the region.
