Big news tomorrow! Join us at InnovateEDU and National Partnership for Student Success for an exciting event at The White House. In collaboration with the National Partnership for Student Success (NPSS), InnovateEDU is thrilled to invite you to a virtual watch party for an upcoming event, which will be live-streamed from the White House on October 10, 2024 from 1:45 - 3:30 p.m. ET. Key champions and collaborators of the NPSS initiative are invited to join InnovateEDU to watch the live stream of this event focused on celebrating progress made by schools, districts, youth-serving nonprofit organizations, institutions of higher education, AmeriCorps programs, state and local government, and others to support our nation’s youth to succeed and thrive. This event will highlight findings from a forthcoming report from researchers at the Everyone Graduates Center, Johns Hopkins University which highlights the progress the nation has made in getting students the supports they need to address the impacts of the pandemic on learning and wellbeing, and progress toward the President’s goal to engage an additional 250,000 caring adults in roles serving as tutors, mentors, student success coaches, wraparound service coordinators, and postsecondary transition coaches. The event will feature remarks from White House Domestic Policy Council Director and Advisor to the President, Neera Tanden, AmeriCorps CEO @Michael D. Smith and U.S. Deputy Secretary of Education Cindy Marten from U.S. Department of Education about the reach and impact to date of the National Partnership for Student Success, a discussion on the report’s key findings and their implications, and a celebration of practitioners and leaders who have made this work possible thus far.
