Patients diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder who have higher annual household incomes experience fewer hospitalizations, regardless of their insurance type, compared to those with lower incomes. This is a critical finding from the latest study led by Christie Teigland, Ph.D., Vice President, Research, Science and Advanced Analytics at Inovalon, in collaboration with Iman Mohammadi, Ph.D.; Barnabie Agatep, M.P.H.; Dusica Hadzi Boskovic, M.S., and Dawn Velligan, Ph.D. The research explores how SDOH impact hospitalizations and costs in patients with MDD.
