Insight PA Special Education Transition Coordinator Sarah Malis recently attended the Jobs for American Graduates (JAG) National Training Seminar in Las Vegas, NV.🎰 JAG is a resiliency-building, workforce-ready program that helps students who have experienced challenging or traumatic life experiences learn in-demand employability skills and provides a bridge to post-secondary education and career advancement opportunities.👩🏻💻 We are excited to bring the JAG Program to Insight PA for the 24-25 school year and will be sharing more soon!😁

Members of the Student Services Team recently presented to a statewide audience at the Education Leading to Employment and Career Training (ELECT) conference in State College.✏️ Their presentation highlighted student supports that are available to at-risk youth while focusing on pregnant and parenting teens.👶 The team engaged audience members with real-life examples of students that have benefitted from Insight's support programming. Today is School Principals' Day! Please join us in celebrating our high school, middle school, and elementary principals and showing our appreciation for everything they do for Insight PA. We are grateful for their vision, guidance, and leadership all year long!

Congratulations to Insight PA Assistant Director of Student Services, Anthony Grande, on being appointed to Pennsylvania's Gifted Advisory Committee. The committee, which includes educational professionals from across the state, is working to examine and revamp the protocols for identification of and educational practices for gifted and talented students in Pennsylvania. A subcommittee of 15 School Psychologists was selected based upon varied experience and their ability to provide contributions to the team. This group will primarily focus on how we define giftedness, recommendations for eligibility criteria, and assessment practices to ensure the implementation of best practices and equitable identification of gifted and talented students.

Kelly has made a huge difference in the day-to-day operations of our Exton office.
