I knew this use case very well because my dad is a structural engineer and I've seen him do site visits growing up. Is generating a custom inspection report in a few minutes feasible? One use case of artificial intelligence that I am keeping an eye on is inspection report generation. The premise of this type of technology is ingesting inspection data (photos, videos, voice memos, etc.), and having artificial intelligence analyze the data to convert it into a written report format. I wanted to highlight a specific application that makes use of this technology by the team at InspectMind AI (YC W24). Here is what I like about the software: -The editable nature of the file the software produces (MS Word) allows you to take full control over the end deliverable and not be subject to a boilerplate pdf (like most inspection software I have tested). -Customers of the application can customize report templates based on the specifics of their business and individual workflows. -The application is general in nature, and not limited to any one specific inspection use case.
