At IALR, we're collaboratively developing a skilled workforce through a variety of training programs: ✔️ Great Opportunities in Technology and Engineering Careers (GO TEC® Virginia): Engaging students as early as middle school with hands-on experiences in advanced manufacturing and technology fields. ✔️ Accelerated Training in Defense Manufacturing (ATDM): Fast-tracking training for adult learners to meet the critical needs of the defense manufacturing industry. ✔️ Integrated Machining Technology: Providing in-depth instruction on the latest machining techniques and industry-standard equipment. (partnership with Danville Community College) But our support for the manufacturing sector doesn't stop at training. Through the Center for Manufacturing Advancement, we provide manufacturing optimization services to help companies enhance efficiency and competitiveness. Meanwhile, our economic development team (Southern Virginia Regional Alliance) offers a full spectrum of resources to both emerging and established companies. We're here to empower our partners and strengthen our community. Happy National Manufacturing Day! Let's continue building a stronger future together. #NationalManufacturingDay

3,600+ students participated in this year's Career ChoICE Youth Expo West event! “We come every year because of the impressions we can make on students before they make career choices. This is a pivotal time in their lives.” – Codie Cyrus, CEO, C&C Piping & Fabrication “We want our students to have as many pathways as possible. I don’t want young people to think they’re pigeonholed into a certain occupation. Young people need to be able to dream and have vision. That’s why Martinsville City Schools brings our students to the Career ChoICE Youth Expo every year.” – Zebedee Talley Jr., Ed.D., Superintendent, Martinsville City Schools Learn more about the impact of this incredible event: https://ow.ly/7ZFn50TBc63
