The Institute for Applied Tinkering is a non-profit organization whose mission is to “Explore, develop, and promote new methods for helping children learn using real tools to solve real problems in the real world.” The Institute operates two primary programs: Tinkering School: Camps and Workshops for kids ages 5-18 Brightworks: Independed K-12 School in San Francisco
