Join the Kansas Data Science Consortium on April 7 in Fraser Hall for the monthly Social Science Quantitative Methods Reading Group. This group will discuss quantitative research methods in the social sciences. Topics will vary, including causal inference, longitudinal analysis, quantitative methods using big data, structural equation modeling, and text analysis. On Friday, April 4, we will host the IPSR Doctoral Research Fellows Spring Symposium. In a recent Fortune article, experts warn of a potential 'brain drain' in the federal government that could have significant implications for the U.S. economy in years to come. Misty Heggeness, an associate scientist at IPSR, emphasizes the urgency of addressing this issue to maintain effective governance and economic stability.
