The Personalized Medicine Coalition published a landmark article in JCO Precision Oncology, documenting the scope and complexity of clinical practice gaps in #PersonalizedMedicine. Based on data from six institutions across three regional health systems, the new study reveals that institutions scoring higher on a multi-factorial assessment of personalized medicine integration are more effectively aligning cancer patients with genetically tailored treatments. The findings indicate that by enhancing their personalized medicine integration scores, health system executives and clinicians in the United States can elevate the quality of care they deliver to their patients. https://lnkd.in/eApAkwAj
