We are happy to invite you to our tenth session of our Lunch Talk series. 📅 March 18th, 2025 🕐 Time: 1-2 pm 📍 Location: Online The CEEDS Blueprint is a document addressing the concept of a Common European Energy Data Space (CEEDS), providing detailed approaches and recommendations for its real-world realization. In particular, the main objective of this blueprint is to guide on enhancing the existing data infrastructures, the energy domain, towards the full embracement of data space solutions. Bridging this gap will empower the introduction of novel energy services, which will increase the efficiency and reliability of the energy systems while providing substantial benefits for every stakeholder. The Talk is presented by Charukeshi Joglekar from Fraunhofer-Institut für Angewandte Informationstechnik FIT. We would also like to take this opportunity to inform you about the extension of the Lunch Talk Series. We will continue it until July and provide you with more exciting topics. Take the opportunity, see what topics await you and sign up now: https://lnkd.in/dtx6HtA3 Once you're registered, you’ll use the same link for each upcoming session. P.S.: It’s perfectly fine to chat while you eat! Feel free to bring your lunch 🥗— we can’t wait to see you there!

Last week, int:net was present at the VDE / DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies) booth at #EWorld in Essen! While there was no dedicated presentation, int:net ran on a continuous 24-hour loop on the screen—impossible to miss! 😉 Many visitors stopped by, scanned our int:net qr-code, and showed great interest in our project. Hopefully, we’ll see some new faces in the int:net community soon! Maybe you would also like to join? Then check the community out here: https://lnkd.in/dUhwPYqe A big thank you to the partners from VDE DKE for representing int:net there!

We are happy to invite you to our ninth session of our Lunch Talk series. February 25th, 2025 Time: 1-2 pm Location: Online The hourglass model provides a framework for understanding ecosystems, architectures, and systems, emphasizing the role of Minimum Interoperability Mechanisms (MIMs) in enabling semantic interoperability. This approach highlights how diverse infrastructure provisions are funnelled through centralized integrators and platforms, which support a dynamic ecosystem of applications and solution developers. By establishing key interoperability mechanisms, MIMs promote both competition and flexibility while ensuring seamless connectivity across different systems. The Talk is presented by Antonio Kung from Trialog. Interested? Register now and join our Lunch Talk! Once you're registered, you’ll use the same link for each upcoming session. The lunch talk series happens every 3rd week. For more details and to sign up, visit: https://lnkd.in/dtx6HtA3 P.S.: Talking with your mouth full is officially welcome here. According to the name, you are welcome to bring your lunch. We look forward to it!

Seeking Support for Our Study! We invite you to support our research by participating in a study to evaluate the effectiveness of a tool designed for the IEC 62559 Use Case Methodology and the SGAM Framework. Our goal is to further advance the development of Smart Grid Requirements Engineering and are in the process of evaluating and testing developments on a Use Case Management Repository (UCMR) to overall improve interoperability efforts. 📍 The study is fully online and should be completed on a Desktop-PC. It takes approximately 60 minutes. 🔗 Join here: https://lnkd.in/dNn2NdaX ⏳ The study is open until 7th February (End of Day). We appreciate your support - feel free to share the link with colleagues who might also participate. Thank you for contributing to this important research! We are happy to invite you to our eighth session of our Lunch Talk series. 📅 February 04th, 2025 🕐 Time: 1-2 pm 📍 Location: Online The goal is to identify and address the barriers preventing cars from becoming interoperable with the electric grid across different EU Member States (MS). This includes evaluating current EU and national initiatives to enhance the interoperability of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, with a focus on Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) use cases and flexibility services. The Lunch Talk will explore whether varying approaches at EU and national levels create interoperability challenges and assess whether a more unified EU strategy is needed, especially as cars cross MS borders. Speakers from the automotive industry, software development and the grid side will join the talk to bring in their perspectives. Stay tuned! Interested? Register now and join our Lunch Talk! Once you're registered, you’ll use the same link for each upcoming session. The lunch talk series happens every 3rd week.
