This Thanksgiving week, I'm grateful for these moments, for this privilege, for this exposure. For the pride of being a bridge between Silicon Valley's innovation and Spain's rising tech talent For seeing the future of tech through their eyes. There's something magical about teaching GenAI architectures to the next generation of Spanish engineers & leaders @ Universidad Complutense de Madrid & MIOTI | Tech & Business School. In our last 2 classes, as I explained how the industry learned to create by first learning to forget, I saw that "click" moment in 20 pairs of eyes. The same one I had years ago in Silicon Valley when I first grasped: Why imperfect reconstruction was the path to new generations. After a decade deploying AI globally, I'm most thankful for these days. Why? Because explaining complex architectures to fresh minds makes you see patterns you missed before: 🧠 Autoencoders taught us perfect memory isn't innovation 🎨 VAEs showed us creativity needs controlled noise 🎞️ RNNs and LSTMs showed us the relevance of forgetting ⚡ Transformers proved context is everything And that's what hit me as I was prepping their homework: these aren't just architectural patterns - they're deep truths about how we process information. About how we think. About how we create. The real magic? Every time I explain how we went from simple autoencoders to transformers, I see someone's eyes light up with that "wait, what if we..." look. That's how innovation spreads. That's how we grow. Because sometimes, teaching what you know helps you see what you missed. ---- What architectural pattern in AI has made you see things differently? Share your "click" moment! 🤔 #Education #SpanishTech #GenerativeAI

"AI winters don't kill AI - they kill AI hype. Build something that creates value, and winter becomes your advantage." Quote of the Day by Jorge Alcántara - What a great post. https://lnkd.in/e6dWWEHj #artificialintelligence #startups #innovation

You know? There was a time when we had to avoid saying "AI" in client calls to not scare people away. 🤫 If you've only worked in AI for the last 2 years, and don't want to go back to cryptobroing, you might want to grab a coat. Winter is always coming. ❄️ What I learned deploying AI globally through the last decade: 🎯 Problems > Technology We didn't sell "AI chatbots" - we sold "40% cost reduction in customer support." The technology was just the means, not the message. 💰 Revenue > Research Sure, we built RLHF before it was cool (though it was a HIT 'L 🥁). But we built it because it made sense, not headlines. Winter kills companies that prioritize tech over revenue. HITL 🥁 Human In The Loop 🤝 Augmentation > Automation Pure AI-Replacement plays don't work as well in winters. The sustainable solutions enhance human capabilities rather than try to replace them, bringing people along with you. This isn't ethics - it's business. (disclaimer. +X% productivity can still have an impact in workforce #) ⚡ Production > PowerPoint A simple solution making money beats a perfect solution in slides. Through hundreds of implementations, we've seen: winter kills PowerPoint companies first. 🔍 Real Problems > AI Trends Find bottlenecks that exist regardless of AI hype. They're your shelter in the winter. So. If you have to remember something, let it be this: 1) Make money with or without the AI buzzwords 2) Solve problems that exist in any weather 3) Ship fast, improve gradually 4) Let your competitors chase the latest trends AI winters don't kill AI - they kill AI hype. Build something that creates value, and winter becomes your advantage. ---- What lessons would you add from your AI journey? Product Managers, as we all know, are "Feature Rich" - "Time Poor". That's why Jorge Alcántara and Pablo Vélez have launched Zentrik, 👏 which cleverly uses AI to remove the pain out of the more laborious and increasingly time consuming elements of product management. It's clear that development itself is becoming increasingly commoditised with AI. Jorge & Pablo discovered from their in-depth research of hundreds of Product Managers, that conversely to code being produced faster, the Product Manager was getting more and more squeezed as a result of having more and more engineering to manage 🤷♀️. Zentrik was developed with the Product Manager at the heart of its roadmap, so the primary goal was to ensure Product Managers could use AI to get the best loved and best understood customer features delivered, which ultimately differentiates products from those with a product lifecycle that just comes from the faster delivery of code. Using Zentrik is easy: 💡 "Idea Management" - Use this feature to help you construct your feature business case. How much "Customer Value" does it add to your product? What's the feasibility size and effort? Is it strategically aligned with your business goals? 📖 "Story Writing" - Experienced product owners will love this feature. With surprisingly little context, Zentrik can not only write your stories for you, but it will produce them from Feature Definition, to User Story with full acceptance criteria as well. All you need to do is tweak and review. 🗓️ "Task Planning" - From the high level feature, to the stories needed, Zentrik can then automatically both produce the tasks needed to deliver the user stories, as well as allocate the right resources needed to fulfil those tasks, be they UI Designers or Back end Developers. Then ... load it all straight into JIRA What I really like about Zentrik is it practises what it preaches, it's transparent about its own product roadmap. Zentrik issues release notes to you, the customer, when there's a new feature, just as you might expect from a delivery team:). Join the beta program today and use https://zentrik.ai/ for free until the end of the month or book a demo with Jorge and the team https://lnkd.in/eM6CcvcD to find out more! #productmanagement #ai #storywriting #agile #productowner #productmanager #productivitytools #productivity #roadmap #taskmanager

Engineers have AI copilots. Designers have Figma, Canva, and Adobe doing great work. Product Managers have... 14 different tabs open and a permanent headache. Today Pablo & I are launching the first public beta of something different. Not another tool for your stack, but a genuine augmentation of your product capabilities. Why? Because we've watched Product Management become the new bottleneck in tech. While everyone focuses on automating development, PMs are quietly doing the work of four people – playing PM, PO, Scrum Master, and Project Manager all at once. The cruel irony? The tasks that create the most long-term value (user research, problem exploration, strategic thinking) are exactly the ones PMs have the least time for. That's why we built Zentrik. Drop in notes, a Jira backlog, or outspoken thoughts, and watch as our AI: - Extracts and evaluates key ideas - Generates detailed user stories - Creates sprint-ready tasks with estimates - Keeps track of progress, controls risk - Help communicate updates with stakeholders All in one seamless flow, no context switching. As AI commoditizes development, the key differentiator won't be who ships features fastest, but who best understands which features actually matter. That's why Product Management is THE job of the future. And why PMs need their time back to focus on creating long-term value. 🚀 We're live on Product Hunt! 🚀 Check us out: https://lnkd.in/dCpBkvnA and share on the launch love 🫶 every vote counts! P.S. Early supporters get some pretty sweet lifetime benefits 😉 #ProductManagement #AI #FutureOfWork

AI & NLP Product Leader | Senior Software Engineer | Building Advanced Solutions for Next-Gen Tech

Here's the thing about modern Product Management that bothers me: we've accidentally turned product leaders into professional task jugglers. I've lived it - spending more time updating tickets than talking to users, more energy on status updates than strategy. The irony? As a PM building AI products, I was watching our solutions help users work smarter while I was stuck in an endless cycle of context-switching and documentation. That had to change. Today, alongside Jorge Alcántara, we're launching Zentrik on Product Hunt! 🚀 Zentrik isn't just another tool in your stack. It's what I wish I had during those late nights translating complex NLP concepts into user stories, or those mornings spent updating five different tools with the same information. We're launching with a clear mission: let's put Product Managers back in charge of product strategy, not product administration. Because when PMs have time to think deeply about user needs, everyone wins - users get better solutions, teams ship with confidence, and businesses create real value. 🎯 Check us out on Product Hunt: https://zentrik.ai/ P.S. For my fellow PMs drowning in administrative work - I built this for you. Early supporters get lifetime benefits, but more importantly, you'll help shape a future where PMs can focus on what they do best: solving real problems for real people. #ProductManagement #AI #Innovation #ProductHunt

  • Proud and excited to have incubated Zentrik. Looking forward to Thursday! https://lnkd.in/dfKpAKN5 Check out their teaser in Product Hunt, and vote when it's released :)

The average Product Manager spends more time updating Jira than talking to users. It's not supposed to be this way. After interviewing 100+ PMs, we found a concerning trend. Everyone's talking about 10x engineers. Nobody's talking about the PMs drowning in their wake. 🔍 The Reality is that the tasks PMs love most (and create the most long-term value) are the ones they spend the least time on. » 65% of PMs say user research & problem exploration are their favorite aspects of the job » 82% believe deep user understanding is critical for product success « Yet... they spend less than 20% of their time on these activities » 𝑾𝒉𝒚? Because they're drowning in... ... Rewriting information across tools ... Sprint planning & task management ... Status updates & stakeholder alignment ... Documentation & requirement writing You can ship features without proper research. They just will be the 𝒘𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒈 features. Here's what everyone's missing 👉 As AI commoditizes development the key differentiator won't be " 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑 𝒇𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒔 𝒇𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕 " – it will be " 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒃𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒄𝒉 𝒇𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓 " That's why Product Management is THE job of the future. And why PMs need to reclaim their time for what truly creates value. 🚀 This Thursday, we're launching something to help PMs do just that. Want early access? Drop a 👋 in the comments or DM me. P.S. If you're a PM who wishes they had more time for user research and experience design... Thursday will be a good day 😉 #ProductManagement #AI #FutureOfWork Yes, our logo is an origami truffle heron, I knew you'd notice 🕊️

Engineers are getting 2-3x more productive with AI. Product Managers are getting... more tools to juggle? 🤹♂️ After studying 100+ product teams, we discovered something fascinating: While dev productivity soars, product management has become the new bottleneck, and it's only getting tighter. Not because PMs aren't working hard enough - they're drowning in context switching (2.1 hours lost daily) and tool juggling (3+ switches per hour). The future doesn't belong to those who write code - it belongs to those who create value. And right now, our best value creators are stuck playing "digital janitor" instead of shaping the future. We think we've cracked this problem. And we'd love to share our vision with you :) Join us this Wednesday for TechWalk Silicon Valley - where we'll explore the future of product development while enjoying some fresh air and sunset views. No slides.  No stuffy conference rooms.  Just authentic conversations about how to build products in the AI era. Let's give PMs back their time, so they can create value for all of us! There's nothing more Zentrik ;) 🗓️ Wednesday, 5 PM  📍 Shoreline Park (link in comments)  🎯 Topic: Why the most important job of 2025 isn't what you think Co-hosting with Pablo Vélez thanks to the great Rupa Bhagwat, who brought us into the TechWalk sphere!
