This Thanksgiving week, I'm grateful for these moments, for this privilege, for this exposure. For the pride of being a bridge between Silicon Valley's innovation and Spain's rising tech talent For seeing the future of tech through their eyes. There's something magical about teaching GenAI architectures to the next generation of Spanish engineers & leaders @ Universidad Complutense de Madrid & MIOTI | Tech & Business School. In our last 2 classes, as I explained how the industry learned to create by first learning to forget, I saw that "click" moment in 20 pairs of eyes. The same one I had years ago in Silicon Valley when I first grasped: Why imperfect reconstruction was the path to new generations. After a decade deploying AI globally, I'm most thankful for these days. Why? Because explaining complex architectures to fresh minds makes you see patterns you missed before: 🧠 Autoencoders taught us perfect memory isn't innovation 🎨 VAEs showed us creativity needs controlled noise 🎞️ RNNs and LSTMs showed us the relevance of forgetting ⚡ Transformers proved context is everything And that's what hit me as I was prepping their homework: these aren't just architectural patterns - they're deep truths about how we process information. About how we think. About how we create. The real magic? Every time I explain how we went from simple autoencoders to transformers, I see someone's eyes light up with that "wait, what if we..." look. That's how innovation spreads. That's how we grow. Because sometimes, teaching what you know helps you see what you missed. ---- What architectural pattern in AI has made you see things differently? Share your "click" moment! 🤔 #Education #SpanishTech #GenerativeAI
