Integrity House was voted a top addiction treatment provider in America and one of the top 10 providers in New Jersey! This recognition is a testament to our staff's dedication to providing high quality care and services. Founded in 1968, Integrity House is one of the largest not-for-profit providers of substance use disorder treatment and mental health services licensed in the state of New Jersey. Since 2020, Newsweek has partnered with data intelligence platform Statista to identify leading addiction treatment facilities across the US. Each center is assessed across three criteria: accreditation data provided by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), reputation surveys from medical professionals and administrators in the field, and Google reviews, which serves to measure the client experience. Chronic pain affects millions of people every day, yet many suffer in silence. Here are some facts: - Over 51.6 million American adults (21% of the population) live with chronic pain - Over 17.1 million American adults live with high-impact chronic pain, or pain that frequently limits life or work activities - Women are more likely to report pain in more areas of their bodies, and experience many types of pain - Chronic pain is a leading cause of long-term disability in the U.S. More than 14 million people with high-impact chronic pain are unable to work. According to the National Institutes of Health, the prevalence of chronic pain and the increasing use of opioids have created a “silent epidemic” of distress, disability, and danger to a large percentage of Americans. If you or someone you know is struggling with opioid use and mental health challenges, call us at 973-623-0600. As we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, it is important to acknowledge the many Hispanic Americans who struggle with addiction and mental health conditions, but remain underserved compared to other racial/ ethnic groups. According to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), 13.1 million Hispanic adults have substance use disorder (SUD) or a mental health condition. Unfortunately, 95% of Latinos did not receive substance use treatment because of cultural factors, recovery goals and stigma, among others. 64%of Latinos with a mental illness did not receive mental health services. Integrity House has culturally competent staff that are equipped to serve the Hispanic community. If you or your loved one is struggling, call us at 973-623-0600. Let’s build a stronger, healthier community together. #SubstanceUseAwareness #LatinoHealth #MentalHealthMatters #BreakTheStigma #CommunitySupport
