    One of the best decisions I have made in my life was to return to school for my EMBA more than 20 years after I recieved my undergraduate degree. As a single mother of two, forging my way into the career I wanted, and to show my two sons that it was never too late to work hard towards your life goals, was never an option but a mandatory life lesson. Although I was nervous and a little scared, even when Covid shut down the state on my very first EMBA class, while managing a nationwide employee force to keep my company functioning through the pandemic, I successfully navigated my path to graduation with strong family, cohort, and support from California Lutheran University’s deans and professors.     New 2024 Need: IT Systems Manager with expert knowledge of IT best practices, policies, and regulations. In-depth understanding of programming, computer science, and digital security. Strong knowledge in Server, Desktop, Laptop, and Infrastructure hardware installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, focusing on VMware vCenter, ESX/ESXi platforms. Intermediate knowledge or actively running a home Lab environment is a plus. We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Manager who will be responsible for maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT best practices and regulations, as well as in-depth knowledge of programming, computer science, and digital security. You must have strong knowledge and skills in Server, Desktop, Laptop, and Infrastructure hardware installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, focusing on VMware vCenter, ESX/ESXi platforms. Intermediate knowledge or actively running a home Lab environment is a plus. You should also have strong knowledge in Linux operating systems, container technologies, backup systems, and databases. In addition, you should have strong knowledge of Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems and architecture, including Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, PowerShell scripting, SQL, DNS, DHCP, SCCM, and IIS. Knowledge of Firewall, Networking, Call Manager, Security, and Video surveillance solutions is also required. The ideal candidate should possess great project management skills, including organization, planning, time management, and prioritization. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills are also essential. You should be highly organized, have excellent attention to detail, and be able to work with a high degree of accuracy. This is a possible remote position, ideally in California, with a salary range of $160-180k. If you have strong analytical skills, good judgment, proven problem-solving, multi-task abilities, and excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

    Attention all Hybrid Embedded Engineers in the San Luis Obispo, CA area! We are currently seeking individuals with experience using embedded software development tools, proficiency in C/C++ programming and assembly, and preferably experience with microcontrollers (especially Atmel ARM/Cortex, Microchip PIC, or equivalent) for our team. Additionally, hardware debugging experience using JTAG, oscilloscopes, and/or logic analyzers, as well as experience with CAN Bus, RS-485, Ethernet, or similar communications protocols is a plus.
