Wrapping up a successful Construction Inclusion Week! Members of our leadership team had a fantastic experience kicking off the week with Associated General Contractors of Colorado and HCC - Hispanic Contractors of Colorado at their Annual Meeting for Progress. We’re always grateful for the opportunity to learn new strategies for building a more inclusive and equitable workplace. Additionally, Great Hall Phase III Project Manager, Zach Hopkins, had the pleasure of leading a tour and sharing his insights with the women of CHIC - Collaborative Healing Initiative Within Communities , a pre-apprenticeship program focused on helping women overcome barriers and create pathways into construction. Thank you to Maxx Impact Group for the introduction to this amazing organization. #ConstructionInclusionWeek

Our Reno team had a great time at Construction Career Day in Northern Nevada! As schools increasingly highlight the importance of trades, we’re proud to showcase the wide range of careers available in the electrical industry. #CCD2024 Thanks to Venus Raprager and Jim Paulk for setting up at this wonderful event!
The AGC's Construction Career Day 2024 was another success this year. 1600 students from Washoe County came through to see all that the construction field has to offer. There were a ton of students who stopped by the booth. It could have been the snacks, but the romantic in me believes it was all we had on display this year! Our General Foreman with IME, Jim Paulk, helped out as my field expert this year. We had a Jacob's Ladder and BIM model on display, and interactive displays for cutting strut with a cool tool and wiring a fused disconnect. The students asked some really great questions and showed enthusiasm for a career in the electrical industry. Together all of us with #CCD2024 have inspired some really fulfilling future careers in the community!

Yesterday we had the pleasure of attending Transportation & Construction GIRL Day, where young women get the opportunity to learn about exciting career paths in the infrastructure industry. This is IME's first time as a TCG Day sponsor. Our team had the best time displaying interactive electrical exhibits using Play-Doh and a 3-way electrical switch. Thanks to our very own PM, Felicia Taylor getting us involved in such a fun filled organization that’s so near to your heart!

Exciting progress at Denver International Airport - City & County of Denver Dept of Aviation as the East Security Checkpoint hits 50% completion! We're proud to have completed the Wall Rough-In for the TSA Breakroom and Gear Rough-In for the Lvl 4 Comm Room. Significant progress has been made on power relocations for the new elevators, which will transport passengers from security down to the train tunnel. Work is also advancing on the Level 4 train platform ceilings and nearing completion for the Level 6 ceilings above the circulation and new security vestibules. We're thrilled to be part of the project with HENSEL PHELPS and look forward to sharing more updates!
We've hit a milestone: Our future East Security Checkpoint is 50% complete! The pedestrian bridge between the two checkpoints is taking shape, flooring is going in, and openings are in place for the second triple escalator and elevators to the train. “Reaching the halfway point of the East Security Checkpoint buildout is an important milestone in this monumental program that renovates the Terminal. We are currently tracking ahead of schedule and under budget,” DEN CEO Phil Washington said. East Security is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2025.
