HUD recently extended financial support to an additional five grantees, including Intermountain Fair Housing Council! 🙌 In HUD's own words, "The grant funds will empower the recipients to carry out fair housing enforcement through a range of activities, including conducting thorough investigations, implementing fair housing testing to uncover instances of discrimination in both rental and sales markets, and taking the necessary steps to file fair housing complaints either with HUD or equivalent state and local agencies."

📰 IFHC in the news! 📰 "An investigation by the nonprofit Intermountain Fair Housing Council revealed their rent increased twice before their lease was up without proper approval, leading to a demand letter asking for the more than $5,000 combined in overcharges the company had to pay back to both the Jenkins sisters and the housing authority.
