On September 30 and October 1, the IACP provided training on checkpoint operations emphasizing speed enforcement in Bogotá, Colombia for officers of the Colombian National Police and agents of District Secretariat of Mobility of Bogotá. The training, supported by the Bloomberg Philanthropies BIGRS initiative, offered effective practices in roadside operations, ways to improve interagency collaboration, and practical checkpoint exercises in a controlled environment. #RoadSafety

The IACP donated breathalyzers to support the Agencia de Tránsito y Movilidad (ATM) drunk driving enforcement operations in Guayaquil, Ecuador, through the Bloomberg Philanthropies Initiative for Global Road Safety. Following delivery, traffic enforcement agents were trained in the use of the equipment.
