The world's leading organization exclusively devoted to research on Gambling Disorder
About us
The National Center for Responsible Gaming (NCRG) is the only national organization exclusively devoted to funding research that helps increase understanding of gambling disorder and youth gambling and find effective methods of treatment for the disorder. Founded in 1996 as a separate 501(c)(3) charitable organization, the NCRG’s mission is to help individuals and families affected by gambling disorder by supporting the finest peer-reviewed, scientific research into gambling disorder; encouraging the application of new research findings to improve prevention, diagnostic, intervention and treatment strategies; and advancing public education about gambling disorder and responsible gaming. More than $27 million has been committed to the NCRG, through contributions from the casino gaming industry, equipment manufacturers, vendors, Native American casinos, related organizations and individuals.

🌟 Highlights from the ICRG Conference! 🌟 Our panel, "Healing The Spirit of Addiction," provided deep insights into culturally competent, trauma-informed care for Native Americans. Special thanks to Dr. Tonya Elliott of the University of Louisiana at Monroe and Jacob Coin, Executive Advisor to the San Manuel Tribal Council, with Nicole Scott of ICRG moderating. Their discussions emphasized the importance of tailored approaches in addiction treatment for Native American communities. We are also grateful for the generous support and contributions of the Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation, which greatly enriched the conference experience.
