What is a dignity kit? In times of crisis, women and girls often struggle to meet essential needs. Dignity kits are a lifeline for survivors, providing not just essentials but a sense of security and dignity during a crisis. The kits can be tailored for different variables, for example age group or season. We believe in the right to dignity for all people, including women and girls experiencing conflict and crisis.

Our emergency response team in Charleston, #SouthCarolina is coordinating with local partners to support people affected by historic levels of rain and flooding from tropical storm #Debby. We’ll be supplying hygiene and wound care kits and supporting damaged health facilities so they can continue to provide services in their communities. As the storm continues inland, we continue to coordinate with the Departments of Health, as well as with Federally Qualified Health Center partners across Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. Follow us for updates. https://lnkd.in/gMsfvPD6

We’ve been providing essential healthcare services in #Jordan’s Azraq Refugee Camp since it opened in 2014. Today, the camp is still “home” to some 42,000 Syrians who sought refuge there after fleeing the ongoing civil war in their country. At International Medical Corps, we believe that everyone has a right to quality healthcare. See how we’ve been turning that right into a reality in Azraq camp—from maternal healthcare to mental health support, nutrition services and more—for a decade. https://lnkd.in/gztg2FVZ
