En el más reciente Taller de Brechas realizado en el marco del programa EquipYouth en Arequipa, se reveló que la capacidad de resolver problemas y tomar decisiones es fundamental para el éxito en la industria minera, y también una de las competencias más difíciles de encontrar. Durante el taller, empresas y organizaciones educativas trabajaron en identificar las competencias clave para reducir la brecha de talento en la industria minera. El objetivo: que más jóvenes accedan a empleos dignos y de calidad, mientras las empresas encuentran el talento que necesitan para seguir creciendo de manera sostenible. El programa EquipYouth es posible gracias al generoso apoyo de Caterpillar Inc. (organización filantrópica de Caterpillar Inc.). During the workshop, companies and educational organizations worked to identify key skills to reduce the talent gap in the mining industry. The goal: to enable more young people to access decent and quality jobs, while companies find the talent they need to continue growing sustainably. The EquipYouth program is made possible thanks to the generous support of the Caterpillar Inc. (the philanthropic arm of Caterpillar Inc.). Nuestro objetivo es conectar a las y los jóvenes con oportunidades laborales de calidad en el área logística del sector minero, fortaleciendo así a las comunidades y el desarrollo del país.
