#InvescoQQQ's Ryan McCormack joins Chef Nick DiGiovanni on the set of Recipe for Innovation to chat about their own investing journeys – and why the most important thing is to just get started. Watch below ⬇️
I was back on set for #InvescoQQQ’s Recipe for Innovation series – this time to be sous chef to Nick DiGiovanni, a celebrity chef, digital content creator, and holder of several Guinness World Records. While Nick (very patiently) waited for me to peel a pear, we chatted about what it takes to get started investing. The answer? Not much. Nick shared that he started his own investing journey in college. But no matter where you’re at in life, the important thing is just to start. And exchange-traded funds are a potential starting point since they can provide can provide exposure to broad areas of the market in a single, bundled investment. My favorite example: Invesco QQQ gives investors access to 100 innovative companies in one ETF, which means you get exposure to the Nasdaq-100® without having to directly own or invest in the underlying assets. And while I may have unofficially set a record for slowest pear peeler, I won’t let it stop me from checking out Nick’s recipes. What’s the greatest innovation of all time? #InvescoQQQ asked some BIG EAST coaches, and unsurprisingly, their answers dribbled right back to basketball. But innovation isn't just confined to the court. It happens every day around us, driven by visionary companies like those featured in Invesco QQQ ETF. Invesco QQQ is proud to support the BIG EAST Conference and present the BIG EAST Men's and Women's Coach of the Year Awards. 𝘐𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘤𝘰 𝘘𝘘𝘘 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘖𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘌𝘛𝘍 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘐𝘎 𝘌𝘈𝘚𝘛 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦. On #InternationalWomensDay, we celebrate the power and achievements of women everywhere. And in honor of #WomensHistoryMonth, we're spotlighting members of Invesco's Women's Network (IWN). Meet Jessica Gorrill! Jessica is a Senior Analyst for Aprimo in our Charlottetown office. She shares what being apart of IWN has meant to her. "Joining the IWN was a pivotal point in my career and introduced me to a network of strong, intelligent, like-minded women who have inspired and supported me. It pushed me out of my comfort zone, which significantly grew my confidence leading to professional growth and opportunities that would not have been possible otherwise. I’m a better colleague, mother, partner, and friend because of the experience I’ve gained as a member of the IWN." #LifeatInvesco
