The Northeast Indiana region truly has something for everyone...excellent schools, parks, recreation, and museums. And you’re also close to several big cities like Indianapolis, Detroit, and Columbus. And, by the way, Ft. Wayne, the area's flagship city, consistently ranks as one of the #1 places to live! We want to thank our Employer Partners in this area like Parkview Health, Fort Wayne Police Department, Builders FirstSource, and more, who provide not only great opportunities for our members, but support the local communities as well. It's our favorite day of the year...Did you know nearly 200k military members retire each year in the US? Here are 10 reasons to make one of them your next hire... 1️⃣ Leadership Experience: from teams + projects, to entire departments, military members practice their leadership skills daily. 2️⃣ Entrepreneurial Spirit: veterans have the same attributes as business owners- they're independent in managing their work and take ownership of it. 3️⃣ Communication skills: sharing ideas, plans, assigning tasks requires excellent comms skills. 4️⃣ Work Ethic: The mission is first in the military. 5️⃣ Technical Skills: Most military jobs require advanced technical training with systems or equipment. 6️⃣ Teamwork, teamwork, teamwork! 7️⃣ Cross Cultural Experience: Military members travel abroad and gain cultural sensitivity. 8️⃣ Confident: They take pride in their work because it's a reflection of themselves. 9️⃣ Integrity: Almost every branch in the military mentions integrity as part of their core values. 🔟 Cross-functional skills: They're trained to be resilient, resourceful, and they a tool in their belt for every situation they encounter. There are so many reasons to call NE Indiana home...the area is host to Indiana’s second largest city, Fort Wayne. The downtown area features a growing arts campus, the No.1 ballpark in the minor leagues, live music, and a busy nightlife...But, if the city isn’t for you, more rural counties like Adams, Allen, Huntington, and Wabash offer a quiet, laid-back lifestyle featuring lakes and rivers, as well as agritourism destinations like Joseph Decuis Wagyu Farm. ➡️ Take the first step toward your new career and start browsing open positions right now: https://lnkd.in/gYnHVKk6
