About us
Invincikids is an organization (501(c)(3) nonprofit status pending) focused on global distribution of immersive hardware and software that are scientifically shown to improve pediatric patient experiences. In addition to technology distribution, we provide education and implementation support for healthcare professionals, as well as medical and technical advice to partner institutions. We established the Invincikids Consortium, an international consortium for immersive technology clinical research and care. Consortium affiliates share data, ideas, and clinical expertise to accelerate discovery globally. The consortium fosters exchange of open-source software created by groups across the world.

VR szemüvegek a GOKVIban 🏥 2 db Meta Quest 3 VR szemüveget adományozott az ÉN Szívem Alapítvány „A Szívbeteg Gyermekek Védelmében” Alapítványnak, melyeket mostantól Gyermekházunkban tudunk használni kollégáink, kisebb beavatkozásoknál. Az adományozást követően felvettük a kapcsolatot az Amerikai Egyesült Államok-beli, Palo Alto - California székhelyű "Invincikids" non profit céggel, amit a Stanfordon dolgozó aneszteziológus orvosok alapítottak, kifejezetten abból a célból, hogy ilyen jellegű programokat fejlesszenek 3D "Meta" szemüvegekre. Ők ingyen biztosították számunkra a programjaikat, amiket a szükséges kezelőfelülettel együtt neten keresztül telepítettek is a szemüvegekre. A speciális szoftver ami fut a szemüvegeken, alkalmassá teszi őket, hogy zavaró vagy kisebb fájdalommal járó beavatkozások során a gyerekek figyelmét elterelve csökkenteni tudják az ezzel járó kellemetlen élményt. ➡ A VR szemüvegek használata a kórházakban jelentős előnyökkel járhat mind a betegek, mind az orvosi személyzet számára. A virtuális valóság technológia alkalmazása ugyanis lehetővé teszi a betegek számára, hogy fájdalomcsillapító és szorongáscsökkentő terápiában részesüljenek, ami különösen hasznos lehet például vérvételnél, branül elhelyezésénél…stb. ➡ A VR szemüvegek segíthetnek a rehabilitációs folyamatokban is, például a motorikus képességek fejlesztésében, megfelelő szoftver alkalmazásával. ➡ Az orvosi személyzet számára oktatási és képzési célokra is használható, hiszen a VR lehetőséget biztosít élethű szimulációk és virtuális műtétek gyakorlására, ezáltal növelve a szakmai felkészültséget és a betegek biztonságát.
