Iowa 80 Group stands firm in support of the Biodiesel Tax Credit Extension Act of 2024, H.R. 9060. This crucial bill extends the biodiesel blender’s tax credit, a cornerstone in promoting sustainable biofuels since its inception under the American Jobs Creation Act of 2004. “Biodiesel has long been an economic driver for our state. Iowa ranks first in biodiesel production nationwide. The biodiesel industry represents $850 billion of Iowa’s Gross Domestic Product, it lowers our fuel prices and improves our air quality. Without this legislation, the biodiesel industry faces an existential risk.” #iowa80truckstop #biodieseltaxcredit
