You are welcome to attend all four sessions, but each session can stand alone. ✨ Meet the Council ✨ Casey Wilkinson is a self-advocate from Coralville, Iowa. “I am passionate about advocating for individuals who have disabilities. Self-advocacy is my discipline within the Iowa Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities Program (ILEND).” Casey was also the recipient of the 2024 Mia Peterson Self-Advocacy Award!

Keep on creating JD! JD Bumgarner of Spencer, IA, has always had the ability to put things together. Born with Cerebral palsy, Bumgarner found his calling as a metalworking artist. With the help of Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services Self-Employment Program, Bumgarner was able to get the funding he needed to turn his passion into a career, even if he doesn’t see it as work. https://lnkd.in/gdZrvhDf
