IPC Standards took the stage in Japan! IPC Japan recently hosted the IPC Works Automotive Seminar 2024, where Yusaku Kono, IPC Japan representative, discussed the latest changes in J-STD-001J and IPC-A-610J; Udo Welzel, Robert Bosch GmbH, presented “Voids in Solder Joints, Past, Present, and Future,” and Japan Unix Co.,Ltd. OFFICIAL provided a technical presentation on laser soldering technology for #automotive applications. More than 200 automotive industry experts participated in the event in person and online. In addition to the seminar, the 7-31BV-JP Task Group met, led by Tokai Rika, Toyota Motor Corporation, and vice-chair of the committee. 36 members from 28 companies participated in the discussion.
