Today, in recognition of National Intern Day, Ipsen would like to shine the spotlight on our summer interns. Ipsen’s 2024 summer internship class is made up of six talented college students who have taken an active role in pursuing their career by spending their summer playing a role in Ipsen’s active workplace. This year’s interns are Olivia, Drake, Payton, Matthew, Joe, and Mason. A few of them shared their internship experiences with us: 💬 Olivia, who is studying systems engineering and design at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, is working with Ipsen’s mechanical engineering team. “Ipsen’s mentoring program makes this internship a more personal, customizable experience. Working with a mentor means you can tailor your time at Ipsen to cover the areas you want to learn about… it’s what makes Ipsen’s intern program so unique and impactful.” 💬 Drake, having earned his degree in mechanical engineering from Northern Illinois University, is pursuing a master’s degree in business. “Having the opportunity to sit down with (Ipsen President and CEO) Patrick McKenna to learn from his experiences has been extremely useful. McKenna’s willingness to share his experience has trickled down to all parts of Ipsen. Everyone is willing to help the group of interns learn and to provide advice to guide our careers.” 💬 Mason, the 2022 Belvidere North class valedictorian and a marketing student from Iowa State University, offered his take on his sales internship. “The real-world experience has been the best part. Everyone here wants to get you involved as much as you can to see how B2B business operations work. I have lots to take with me to my future career.” Ipsen is proud to celebrate these talented interns and looks forward to seeing their future achievements. #IpsenGlobal #NationalInternDay

🌕 For centuries, humans have marveled at the moon, marking time by its phases, seeing its tidal forces at work on the oceans, and dreaming of exploring its mysteries. 🚀 On July 20th, we commemorate the 55th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing – one giant leap for mankind. Missions like this require dozens of companies and thousands of vendors employing tens of thousands of people, and Ipsen is proud to play a pivotal role in this journey. Since our founding in 1948, Ipsen furnaces have been helping customers in the aerospace industry develop materials and components essential for space exploration. As humanity looks to return to the moon, Ipsen is again honored to be a part of this legendary collection of innovators and manufacturers. 👩🚀Today, on National Moon Day, we celebrate the astronauts, engineers, scientists, and visionaries who continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible. Ipsen is excited about the opportunities that lie ahead, and we are dedicated to advancing our vacuum furnace technologies to meet these challenges. #IpsenGlobal #NationalMoonDay
