Today is #InternationalOverdoseAwarenessDay. According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention the overall rate of overdose deaths nearly quadrupled between 2002 and 2022. IQ Solutions has supported FDA CDER in addressing the national opioid crisis through the Remove the Risk campaign. In honor of International Overdose Awareness Day, IQ Solutions partnered with Shatterproof, a national nonprofit dedicated to reversing the addiction crisis in the United States, to host a discussion and naloxone training. The CDC estimates that there were over 107,000 drug overdose deaths in 2023, and over 81,000 of these deaths involved opioids—including fentanyl. IQ Solutions is committed to ending overdoses and addressing the stigma related to substance use disorders. #TogetherWeCan #EndOverdose #IOAD2024
