This past weekend, several SOSi team members ventured out to Rock Creek Park in Washington, D.C. to participate in the annual Iraqi Children Foundation (ICF) "In Their Shoes" 5K Run/Walk. Since 2009, as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization, ICF has intervened to better over a million children who are vulnerable to abuse, neglect, and exploitation by criminals, traffickers, and extremists. ICF also invests in the training and capacity building of Iraqis to provide legal protection, education, nutrition, medical care, psychological services, and rejuvenating the joys of childhood fun. As a company with a long history of service in the Middle East, SOSi recognizes the profound impact that organizations like ICF have on the ground. A team from Iraq Health Access Organization conducted a supervisory inspection visit to the Al-Wehda Center in Anbar, which is dedicated to providing general health services, physical therapy, and psychological support for children with disabilities in Fallujah. This initiative is funded by Iraqi Children Foundation (ICF). The team included the Director of Iraq Health Access Organization, Hala Al-Sarraf, along with representatives from the organization's administrative and executive units, to monitor and ensure the quality of services provided at the center. During the visit, the team had the opportunity to meet several beneficiaries of the center who praised the team's efforts in improving their children's lives.
