The Greene County Building Commission Board had a small swearing-in ceremony for Greene County Commissioner Bob Dixon, Greene County Clerk Shane Schoeller, and myself. This board hears argument and makes decisions when someone does not agree with the Building Code enforcement or wants a waiver from something in the Building Code Regulation enforced. When St. John’s, now Mercy, faced the challenge of administrative offices spread across multiple buildings, they needed a solution that encouraged collaboration and streamlined communication. We designed a consolidated office suite to bring their team together, with space for future growth. The new suite featured a boardroom equipped with advanced audio/visual technology and carefully designed lighting to support their conferencing needs. At KC CARE Health Center, the second floor demo is in progress, while the first floor is getting brand new plumbing. The first floor recently underwent its own demolition and new framing. The new pharmacy space will soon be outfitted with specialized equipment, creating a modern and efficient environment for staff and patients alike. A standout feature is the dedicated after-hours dental entrance, providing convenient access for dental services outside regular hours. The connecting hallway seamlessly links the new medical addition to the existing facility, ensuring easy navigation for patients and staff.
