8 Years of ICC: We need your help. ❤️ Eight years ago, Lauren and Mike transformed their backyard shed into a teeny-tiny therapy office, rooted in the belief that therapy should be accessible to all. What started as a leap of faith—offering sliding-scale sessions in a cozy tiny house—has blossomed into something far greater than we could have imagined. From outdoor therapy tents in pandemic days to the historic train depot we now call home, Irvington Counseling Collective has grown into a vibrant and caring community. Today, our collective of 12 therapists is honored to serve nearly 700 people each year, providing sliding-scale therapy, mutual aid grants, community wellness groups, and financial assistance to those who need it most. We have worked hard to stay true to our mission: to make quality mental health care accessible and affirming for all. But the truth is, we can’t continue this work without your support. ❤️ Every sliding-scale session, every mutual aid grant, and every outreach effort relies on the generosity of our community. As the demand for our services continues to grow, so does our need for financial backing. We’re asking you, our community, to help sustain us through this next chapter. Whether it’s $5 or $50, your donation directly impacts the lives of those who may not otherwise have access to mental health care. All donations are tax deductible, and you can reach out to admin@irvingtoncounseling.org with any questions. If you believe in the importance of affordable, affirming therapy and want to see this work continue to thrive, please consider donating today. With your help, we can continue providing life-changing support to those who need it most. Thank you for walking with us these past eight years. We look forward to many more years of healing, togetherness, and collective care. With gratitude and love, The Irvington Counseling Collective Family

UPDATE: Applications Closed Our mental wellness fund is back open for applicants! Apply now through the link in the comments. Thanks to generous donations by Trinity Church and grant funding from the Colts Kicking the Stigma initiative, we are finally able to take new applications for microgrants through our BIPOC, Trans, & Nonbinary Mental Wellness Fund. This fund was created to help reduce the mental health inequities faced by Black, Brown, and Indigenous folks, and Transgender & Nonbinary folks in Indy. With systemic racism and harmful legislation continuing to limit access to care, we’re here to provide $500 in mutual aid to support therapeutic practices defined by you. Whether it’s for therapy, exercise classes, gender affirming care, or other mental wellness needs, we’re committed to ensuring access to culturally attuned mental health care. Funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis and can be applied for once per year. To apply, you must be 18+ (or have a guardian signature), live in Marion County, and outline how you'd like the funds to be used. Reimbursements will be made directly to your chosen providers.
