If so, it might be time to rethink. The Enterprise Browser is a complete reimagining of work. A single space, where everything organizations need to work safely and productively is built in. And everything else is out of the way. No need to say goodbye to your consumer browser – save that for your shopping, streaming, and scrolling. Simply open up Island when it’s time to work. We promise it’ll feel as familiar and natural as you expect.

Heading to the Evanta Global CISO Executive Summit? Don’t miss Jason T.'s breakout session on Tuesday, September 17 @ 9:35 AM. His talk, "Unlocking Full Potential – Security Enhancements for The Global Enterprise," tackles a critical issue: Despite all the cloud upgrades, most enterprises are still relying on outdated browsers that can’t keep up. Why keep layering tech around a browser that wasn’t built for today’s security demands? Jason will discuss why traditional methods are slowing down modernization and how organizations can break free. If you're ready to rethink and simplify, this is the session to catch.

Innovation has always been deeply woven into Island’s DNA. From our people to our product and solutions, from our core values to our culture — Innovation is Island. We’re thrilled to announce we’ve been recognized as a finalist on Fast Company’s 2024 Best Workplaces for Innovators list, which honors the top organizations from a variety of industries that demonstrate an inspiring commitment to encourage and develop innovation at all levels. We’re proud to say our “Islands of Innovation” model empowers our teams to operate like independent startups with their own funding, leadership, and deliverables – without the hierarchical “red tape” that typically slows teams down. Each of our “islands” are empowered to own their product – including market research, cutting-edge feature development, and direct product delivery to our customers. The end result? Higher impact, higher product quality, higher customer satisfaction, and a culture built on collaboration, inspiration, learning, and growth. Thank you, Islanders, for all you do everyday to make Island a Best Workplace for Innovators. We’re immensely grateful for all that you’ve contributed to take us where we are today. 🏝 https://lnkd.in/gJDhmxyK

It’s about reduction, not eradication. Crowdstrike co-founder Dmitri Alperovitch shares how Island is helping modern organizations slash their desktop virtualization spend by tens of millions of dollars. That doesn’t mean legacy apps that businesses have relied on for years get eliminated from the picture. It simply means companies can securely move the bulk of their cloud applications to the Enterprise Browser, where the majority of work is already being done, and reserve costly virtualization tech for those select niche cases where it’s needed. Want to learn more? Island’s Bradon Rogers will be opening up the welcome reception at Crowdstrike’s #FalCon2024 next week in Vegas. Hope to see you all there. 👇 ↳ What if your browser was built for the enterprise? ↳ Monday, September 16,  6:10-6:30pm PT ↳ Aria Las Vegas - Theater #1 And swing by the Island booth (#1702) 9/16–9/19 for some coffee and a chat.

Imagine that your company is under attack. Security has been breached. Everything is on lockdown. Now what? The Enterprise Browser is designed to handle just that with built-in resilience capabilities – no VPN required. During a major breach, you can seamlessly shift your entire workforce to alternate systems in a moment’s notice, so you can focus on the recovery and not the disaster. Whether you’re on your work laptop, your personal iPad, or grandma’s PC, it’s all platform and device agnostic. The Enterprise Browser meets you where you are to keep your organization’s critical infrastructure up and running when you need it most. Michael Fey shares more with Information Security Media Group (ISMG)’s Michael Novinson.

The best kind of security is the kind your end users don’t even notice. It just works quietly in the background, keeping organizations and users safe without getting in the way. Our approach? Start with the needs of the user, of the business, then build targeted solutions from there. Our goal? Ensure a smooth and secure browsing experience no matter what the task is, work or personal. Security that feels invisible, but does the job every time. Dan Amiga Brittany Lewandowski Richard Greene Eric Appel

VDI had its moment. Once upon a time, it was the go-to solution for secure access to modern work environments. And it served us well. But in today’s cloud- and SaaS-first world, those heavy infrastructures, high costs, and clunky user experiences just don’t cut it – or at least, they shouldn’t. Modern organizations are done with the hassle and ready for a simpler, smarter, more efficient, more natural alternative. They’re ready for the Enterprise Browser. So thanks, VDI. It’s been real. But we’re moving on.
