If so, it might be time to rethink. The Enterprise Browser is a complete reimagining of work. A single space, where everything organizations need to work safely and productively is built in. And everything else is out of the way. No need to say goodbye to your consumer browser – save that for your shopping, streaming, and scrolling. Simply open up Island when it’s time to work. We promise it’ll feel as familiar and natural as you expect.

Innovation in healthcare technology is moving fast, but many of the systems they run on are still stuck in the digital Stone Age. And for modern organizations responsible for patient health, relying on legacy apps and systems like VDI just isn’t feasible. But it’s not just about swapping old tech for new – it’s about getting smarter with how we use what we’ve got. Our VP of Government, Healthcare, and Education, John Kirkman, recently joined Drex DeFord on the This Week Health Captivate podcast to share how the Enterprise Browser helps organizations reduce their tech debt and streamline operations. Tired of costly, frustrating patchwork solutions? Listen to the full episode here: https://lnkd.in/gg2p3NaS

When compared to more traditional solutions — like VDI and layered security controls — the financial impact of switching to the Enterprise Browser is astonishing. We’re talking hundreds of millions of dollars saved; a 10-50x ROI. But it’s not just about the $ savings. With enterprise browsers, companies are also drastically enhancing security and improving end user experience. From reduced hardware and bandwidth costs, to streamlined protocols and massive productivity gains, the benefits are extensive. And this is just the beginning. Consumer browsers weren’t initially designed for mission support. They lack the sophisticated policy necessary to protect mission applications, the underlying data, and the personnel in mission departments, agencies, and partner environments. Luckily, there’s a new breed of browser that naturally embeds the core needs of mission support into the smooth, familiar browsing experience users expect – A browser that has the potential to solve all kinds of use cases that consumer browsers are unable to answer for. Our Head of Federal, Scott Montgomery (Monty), shares how the Enterprise Browser is the key to unlocking DOD modernization in a recent blog post. Check it out here: https://lnkd.in/gsSi3V3F Monty will be at Billington CyberSecurity Summit in just a few weeks to share more on the why and how – more to come on that soon. #BillingtonSummit

Security, IT, network controls, data protections, and app access — everything the enterprise needs, naturally embedded into the workspace users expect. Not bolted on top of technology, on top of more technology, costing your organization millions and your end users their peace of mind. This is work’s natural next step.

Account takeover attacks (ATO) are growing at a faster rate than valid online transactions. And fraudsters’ latest target is the retail hospitality sector. Attackers deploy malware and craft fake reservations to impersonate both hoteliers and vacationers, scamming individuals out of their money, costing the industry hundreds of millions of dollars in global revenue and blocked inventory per year — not to mention the reputation damage for affected hotels. That’s where the Enterprise Browser comes in: seamlessly isolating and fully protecting the entire booking process and customer interaction. Island and our hospitality partners will join the Retail & Hospitality ISAC Solutions Showcase next week to share deeper insights on how the ATO scam is affecting this vertical, along with the Enterprise Browser’s unique approach to a simple solution. The browser, almost unintentionally, has become the most deployed application in the world. But it’s still a consumer product with no built-in enterprise support. We’ve bolted on a ton of costly, clunky technology just to make it work for… work. Until now. Our VP of Government, Healthcare, and Education, John Kirkman recently joined Drex DeFord and This Week Health to talk about how the Enterprise Browser is streamlining organizational security without disrupting workflows or breaking the bank. John and Drex explore the tensions between user experience and security, the issue of legacy tech debt in healthcare, the importance of modernizing systems, and more. Consumer web browsers were never built for mission-critical tasks or the security needs of government entities. Trying to fit a square into a circle has led to costly and complex frameworks that frustrate users and compromise security. Federal agencies deserve a better solution — a browser that’s designed for mission support. With seamless and risk-free contractor management, streamlined SaaS integration, and secure BYOAD measures that finally give you peace of mind, the Enterprise Browser is the better solution – one built with control, visibility, and governance in mind. The DOD and other Federal agencies no longer need to choose between functionality and security. Our own Scott Montgomery shares more on how Island gives Warfighters, government leaders, and civilians access to fluid, frictionless, and fundamentally secure technology: https://lnkd.in/g-5iKtxJ

VDI was a game changer when it hit the scene 20 years ago, but the workforce of today needs something more. Something… different. With outdated mechanics, high costs, and latency issues, VDI simply isn’t practical for a lot of enterprises. The Enterprise Browser is that “something different.” Direct, secure application access without centralized cloud dependency. It’s a fresh approach that cuts costs, reduces complexity, and enhances end user experience. And major enterprises, including one of the largest U.S. banks, are seeing significant savings by simply switching to the Enterprise Browser. Hear more on the why and the how. 👇
