Yesterday, we held our University Wide Health Walk on Liver Health. We visited two different communities outside the university campus environment and educated them on the importance of taking care of their liver. Our liver is not a twin organ and we must take care of it by avoiding excessive alcohol, abuse of drugs etc.

Yesterday, we had an inter-committee quiz. Two members were chosen by committee heads to represent each committee. The rules and regulations governing the competition were clearly explained to both the participants and the audience. The quiz was then divided into sections, with a scheduled break taking place after the completion of the first two sections." At the end of the quiz, the Medical Outreach and Logistics Committee were declared the winner of the quiz. The winners, Isp. Iyidiobi Micheal and Isp. Asogwa Anita were given certificate of excellence and all other participants got a certificate of participation. The meeting came to an end with the unveiling of the ISPOR SPLASH by the Editor-in-Chief II, Isp. Efobi Lydia.

🔥🔥🔥🔥 ISPOR-HEOR UNN First Hospital Outreach _drum rolls please...🥁🥁_ Today, ISPOR-HEOR UNN in collaboration with PANS Public Health Team, UNN celebrated World Breastfeeding Week with the Nursing mothers and Pregnant women at UNN Medical Centre, Nsukka Health Centre and General Hospital. We educated them on the benefits of breastfeeding, myths and facts about breastfeeding and breastfeeding positions. We also asked questions and gave free baby wipes and Maternity pads. Overall, we were able to answer all the questions the mothers asked.
