The exercise involved multiple operations, the first being a “persistent stare” surveillance mission to locate “particular signals of interest” in the electromagnetic spectrum using high-altitude balloons and Kraus Hamdani Aerospace, Inc.’s K1000 drone, Lt. Col. Aaron Ritzema, commander of the 2nd Multi-Domain Effects Battalion, 1st Multi Domain Task Force, said. Read more from National Defense Magazine here ⬇ ⬇ (https://lnkd.in/e3CfNFfT)

Exciting developments in military tech! The US Army is set to award integration contracts for its new High Accuracy Detection and Exploitation System (#HADES) by the end of 2024. The Bombardier Global 6500 aircraft will offer robust capabilities, addressing both current and future operational needs. The systems integration will enhance mission-specific capabilities without altering the baseline configuration, making it a versatile and powerful asset. ✈ Army ISR Task Force Director, Andrew Evans, told Breaking Defense the initial packages include “a Moving Target Indication capability, a high-end signal intelligence capability, and a number of other capabilities that come with HADES as a baseline configuration.” Read more below from Breaking Defense News Editor in Chief Aaron Mehta, reporting from London, UK. ⬇ https://lnkd.in/eWtdMmhp
