Today, ITT Inc. announced the closing of its acquisition of kSARIA, a leading producer and supplier of mission critical connectivity solutions for the defense and aerospace end markets. The acquisition was previously announced on Aug. 1, 2024 as part of our Q2 earnings publication. kSARIA, which produces highly engineered cable assemblies for avionics, sensors, communications and networking applications that are highly complementary to ITT’s existing connector portfolio, is now part of ITT’s Connect & Control Technologies segment. ITT Inc. today announced its Q2 2024 results, the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire specialty interconnect solutions manufacturer kSARIA and the divestiture of its Wolverine business. During a quarter in which we drove strong growth and margin expansion through differentiation, our teams delivered: ● 6% organic revenue growth with all three segments contributing ● 100 basis points adjusted operating margin expansion to 18% driven by higher sales volumes and productivity ● 12% adjusted EPS growth to new record quarterly EPS ● Free cash flow of $135 million, an increase of $104 million on a sequential basis Commenting on the quarter, ITT Inc. CEO and President Luca Savi said: “Once again, ITT delivered a strong performance in the second quarter, growing EPS both year-over-year and sequentially, driven by 9% sales growth with each segment contributing. Our focus on profitable growth generated 60 basis points of margin expansion whilst free cash flow improved sequentially by more than $100 million. Our recent acquisition Svanehøj grew orders by nearly 40% this quarter and won two significant awards, including pumps on the first ammonia-fueled bulk carriers and on a large European carbon capture project. Today, we are pleased to share that ITT Inc.'s Svanehøj business has been awarded a contract to provide deepwell ammonia fuel pumps for eight bulk carriers equipped with a dual-fueling system, including a clean fuel system to handle ammonia and other sustainable fuels. This strategic agreement furthers Svanehøj's leadership position in the green energy transition as sustainable fuels are more widely adopted to reduce greenhouse gas emissions as part of the IMO’s “Net-zero by 2025” strategy. “Svanehoj continues to build trust with its customers through its experience in green applications, its flawless execution and rapid response times.
