IWOCL 2024

I've written a blog post on Codeplay Software employees' great experiences at IWOCL 2024. IWOCL is always interesting and very fun to attend, so feel free to check it out to get a glimpse of how we spent the week in Chicago and what's going on in SYCL-world!

Last week it was a great pleasure to attend IWOCL 2024 in the city of Chicago. I had the chance to showcase our work on the DPC++ private alloca extension developed in collaboration with my Codeplay Software colleagues. Thanks to the conference chairs that once again brought implementers and users together. This is the best chance to share our experiences and make the SYCL community better. It was also a great chance to experience the vibrant city of Chicago with Codeplay Software colleagues Hugh Delaney and Sean Stirling. ALCF’s Yasaman Ghadar presents “Experience of Porting LAMMPS Application with KOKKOS/SYCL to Aurora” at IWOCL 2024. Her talk covered a collaborative effort with DOE's Exascale Computing Project, multiple national labs, and Intel Corporation to improve the performance of the Spectral Neighbor Analysis Potential (SNAP), a machine-learning potential in the LAMMPS molecular dynamics code, on Argonne National Laboratory's Aurora exascale system. https://lnkd.in/gU6iAgPJ
