J. Alexander's is a contemporary American restaurant, known for its wood-fired cuisine. Our core philosophy is to provide you with the highest possible quality dining experience. The menu features a wide selection of American classics including prime rib of beef, steaks, fresh seafood, sandwiches and entrée salads. The menu in each restaurant includes a varied and rotating selection of features like Seafood Czarina, Tuscan Steak, Grilled Fish with Mango Papaya Salsa and Chicken Milanese. The best way to get students engaged in how fantastic our industry can be is through what I like to call "experiential learning." Today, we had the pleasure to visit the J Alexanders in Boca Raton with their General Manager, Mike Pelotte and the team. As you'll see in the photos, Instructor Gregory T. Bohan had them do a full restaurant tour including kitchen, front of house, and other back of house procedures. By living a "day in the life" in one of the highest rated brands in America, the students can easily see what future career opportunities exist in the restaurant sector.
