In Lebanon, OH we retrofit a rotating bridge system with new full-floor fixed diffusers by OTT. This change improved operations and reduced power requirements for the secondary treatment process. Thanks to Burgess & Niple and DOLL LAYMAN LTD for all the hard work on the design and installation.
Flottweg centrifuges are hardworking, efficient machines for thickening and dewatering water and wastewater residuals. Each of these C8E machines installed in 2023 at the Louisville MSD Derek R. Guthrie WWTP, dewater up to 600 gpm & 3,500 lbs/hr of wastewater sludge. That's 1,800 gpm in a very small footprint. Also featured are the SPIRAC shaftless screw conveyors. An #AquaDiamond tertiary filter from Aqua-Aerobic Systems, Inc. is a great retrofit of a traveling bridge sand filter system. Increase your throughput and cut your backwash return. Typical installations see less than 2% of the forward flow returned by backwash, with very low TSS in the tertiary effluent. Dutchland provided this 3 million gallon combine sewer overflow storage tank at the South Bend, IN wastewater treatment plant. Bowen installed the 65 panels to complete the 169’ diameter tank with 23’ high walls. Fits like a glove! That makes 5 Dutchland tanks in our territory. It’s especially rewarding when you have the opportunity to work with repeat customers. Thanks for trusting us! This morning we completed the successful startup of all 3 aeration tanks at the City of Troy WWTP with new OTT find bubble #Magnum diffusers on #AirRex piping using #FlexSil membranes. Troy originally install OTT diffusers in 1999. This new installation should last them another 20 years 💪. It’s been great working with Peterson Construction Company and Hazen and Sawyer on this project.
